Ledou Tofu
Ledou Tofu, formerly known as Laomeng Tofu, was founded by Mr. Meng Qingchun and is a professional tofu manufacturer. Since 2020, we have been proud to provide Canadians with the cleanest and most delicious tofu products. Our tofu is rooted in the traditional Chinese processing techniques from the year 2000. We adhere to traditional craftsmanship and recipes, using Nigari to coagulate soy protein. Our tofu is rich in calcium, magnesium, and more.
Our tofu products do not contain any chemical additives because we believe that food should be pure and clean. Nigari is a mineral extracted from sea salt, with the chemical name magnesium chloride.
As is well known, magnesium is an essential mineral for the health of our heart, bones, and immune system. Traditional tofu is the perfect combination to meet our health needs. In contrast, today’s mainstream tofu is mostly mass-produced using calcium sulfate, also known as gypsum, as it is an extremely inexpensive substitute for magnesium.
